Traditional Chinese Medicine - How can it benefit you?
Prevention First, Treatment second
Treats the Body as One
Fixing the Cause of the Condition
healing that considers the whole person
Traditional Chinese medicine explains that health is the result of a harmonious balance of the complementary extremes of “yin” and “yang” of the life force known as “qi,” pronounced “chi.” Illness is said to be the consequence of an imbalance of the forces.
Working as a Mother, Teacher, Clinical hypnotherapist and having experienced the ups and downs of life, and my own health challenges, I found that ACUPUNCTURE was the one main alternative or complimentary therapy that put emotional, mental and physical balance back into my life. It amazed me how these tiny needles placed in ones body could subtly adjust those areas back into equilibrium, by unblocking stagnation built up, energizing and uplifting ones mood or reducing pain without the side effects of medication or just suppressing the symptoms for quick relief.
"I had my first hypnotherapy session with Irene many years ago and cannot begin to praise her enough. At the time I was a working mum, completing my PhD part-time - the sessions transformed my ability to focus and ‘get on with it’ and I am eternally grateful. Since then I have had several sessions over the years and more recently acupuncture. I have benefited greatly from both forms of treatment. Irene is one of those rare practitioners where you come away floating after treatment, I always have a sense of balance and calm afterwards. Thank you Irene." - Dr. Wendy Carter
